6) Then add 1 tbsp of onion-garlic paste and again stir for 10 seconds and leave it for 30 seconds. Then we will add some masalas to it which includes ½ spoon of turmeric powder. Make sure your glass flame is medium at this time. Then 2 tsp of red chili powder, ½ tsp of cumin powder, and 1 tsp of coriander powder.

9) Now we will add 2 medium-sized chopped Tomatoes into it and stir it properly. Cook it for 4-5 minutes on a low flame.
Here you can add1/2 tsp of salt so that the tomatoes will be prepared soon. The rest amount of the salt we will add later and close the pressure cooker lid

10) We will leave it for 4-5 minutes until the tomatoes are mashed properly. After the masala is ready, we will add the fried Pointed Gourd and Potatos.

11) Then Mix it well.

12) Then close the pressure cooker until it will prepared well. Then you can try this curry or you can add water into it. We will add 1 cup water into it. Then we will add 1 tsp of salt. You can add salt as per your taste as we have already added the salt earlier.

13) Now you can add ½ tsp of garam masala and close the pressure cooker lid. And again wait for 2 whistles on medium flame. Make sure we would only cook for 2 whistles or else the potatoes would be over cooked.
After the second whistle, we would turn off the flame and let the pressure cooker release the gas itself. And after some time open it carefully.
Now the Pointed Gourd curry is ready now
The gravy you can see will be thicker with time after it’s cooling down. We have maintained it’s consistency perfectly with the masalas. Now you can add fresh coriander leaves before serving it into a plate.
